Rose branches

Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, is expressed here in the form of minimalist rose branches.  The roses have been preserved and fixed to dried twigs, to create a whole new style of botanical.  There are no thorns, just sensuously curving forms bearing what perhaps reminds the viewer of cherry blossoms or spring.
